Build Process

Here at Carismo we take pride in being able to build a custom steering wheel, for any car. We carry a massive inventory for a lot of modern / popular choice of cars so that in most cases, you do not have to wait for a custom wheel to be built, if we have something in stock for you!

In case you do not see your steering wheel, or see something compatible for your car but it isn’t exactly how you envision it - contact us, and we will help you place your custom build order.

The custom order process is simple - we discuss the spec of the steering wheel build that you have in mind, quote you a production cost and timeframe, and collect a production deposit that goes towards the total of the steering wheel cost. Once the steering wheel is built, we share media of the steering wheel with you, collect the outstanding balance, and ship your new Carismo wheel on its way.

Production times vary, with 98% of Carismo builds achieving a completion date between 3 to 12 weeks from the start of your order. Most steering wheel builds fall into a production range of between 5 to 8 weeks, but of course, depending on complexity and seasonal timing, production times are sometimes not easy to predict and can reach 3-4 months in some extreme cases. Please understand that we do everything in our power to expedite the production process - except cutting corners. We know the feeling of anticipation that comes with ordering car parts, and therefore you can trust us when we say - as soon as it’s ready, you’ll be the first to hear from us.
